The Need is Now
"So many kids and their parents want to come, but because of our situation right now we will have to stop the admission process by the end of this month. I am so worried about the staff and their salary. We had to borrow money in order to pay our staff, because for two months we have been unable to pay them anything.
We had to purchase undergarments for all the kids on credit. Same for the books, notebooks and groceries, because the kids have increased. We are trying our best to control the expenses. We keep our electricity meter off while kids go to school to reduce the bill. For an entire month we haven’t purchased a gas cylinder, food is being prepared outside on the brick stove.
Today we have 167 children with us. 62 boys and 105 girls."
